During the first lockdown many young people missed connecting with their peers and creative learning from drama groups and Saturday activities.
I started the storytelling sessions in 2020 as a way to support families of key workers who were struggling to find ways to keep kids entertained and stimulated. Since then the group has grown, and we've done terms on Shakespeare and Greek Myths. Having taken a break over Christmas the group is now re-starting with brand new Greek Myths AND a new yoga class. The sessions can be booked individually or as a bundle. Please refer to my online yoga page to book.
I've worked with young people since 2004 when I joined the Royal Shakespeare Company as an Associate Education Practitioner. I have taught drama to children across the world and since qualifying as a yoga teacher I now combine the skills to provide fun, physically and mentally active sessions to inspire children to take ownership of classic stories. If you'd like to know more about my work as a theatre director please check out my directing website.
